Music
Therapy Selections on Colorado HealthNet
This site provides some actual
Real Audio recordings of music suitable for music therapy that you can play on your
computer. Depending on an individual's response, the opera selections provided in the
Classical section may or may not be therapeutic. But the Contemplative, Shakuhachi and
Tibetan Flute selections should have relatively wide appeal. The celtic harp pieces in the
Contemplative section are particularly fine. This wonderful contribution to the Web
provides about two hours of music. A
link to the latest version of the RealPlayer provides a state-of-the-art free player to
access the selections.

American
Art Therapy Association, Inc. This Association site
includes useful information for Art Therapist professionals, but it is rather sparse on
content, as is the WWW as a whole in this area. There is a good definition of art therapy,
a FAQ, and links to pages which discuss the legislative and regulatory status of art
therapy in each state, including membership of certifying boards. There are
a few old articles from their journal, Art Therapy and an
informative FAQ.

This is a pretty plain site, but worth looking at because it
seems to be the primary technical content on Art Therapy on the WWW (March 1997).
